Swine Flu Vaccination
We are hoping to receive supplies of the Swine Flu vaccine sometime in the 3 weeks from 26th November 2009.
In accordance with the Government’s instructions, we will only be issued supplies for the following groups of patients;
· Everyone over six months of age who has one or more of the following medical conditions;
o Chronic Heart Disease
o Diabetes
o Chronic Respiratory Disease or Asthma requiring continuous use of steroids
o Chronic Renal Disease
o Chronic Liver Disease
o History of Stroke or TIA
o Immunosuppression
· Pregnant women, subject to licensing conditions
· Household contacts of immunocompromised individuals
Patients in these groups should contact us at the end of October or early November to arrange an appointment for vaccination in the specially arranged clinics by calling in or telephoning 01743 367891.
We will NOT be able to offer vaccination to patients who do not meet these criteria – even if they are over 65
